Catfish Bend Casino wins national recognition
Las Vegas, NV –Catfish Bend Casino has earned a national gaming award from the 2011 Romero Awards which recognize excellence in casino marketing throughout the gaming world.

Tractors, Combines & Cash wins Romero Honorable Mention

The Romero Awards selected from a field of 151 compelling nominations this year and Catfish Bend received an Honorable Mention for its “$350,000 Tractors, Combines and Cash” promotion. Promotions Manager Carole Halicki was pleased with the accolade. “We strive for excellence in all of our casino promotions and events and it’s refreshing to be recognized among our peers as being one of the best in the country. Hopefully we can bring home a Silver, Gold or Diamond Award next year.”

Named after casino marketing pioneer and author John Romero, the Romero Awards honor those gaming operators who best represent effective, measurable and accountable casino marketing expenditures.

Each year, a panel of expert judges selects winners for their excellence in casino marketing, in a variety of important marketing categories. Catfish Bend competed in the Small- to mid-size casino gaming facilities category. Halicki will be present at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino to accept the award on behalf of Catfish Bend at the 2011 Casino Marketing Conference on July 18, 2011 in Las Vegas.
